Know Me
Hello there. I'm Marwa Orfie, an architect and interior designer with a deeply-rooted passion for user experience in space and holistic design. Growing up, I spent most of my summer vacations hunched over my computer following interior and design blogs. I went on to attend Cairo University's Faculty of Engineering, Architecture Department, and graduated with high honors.
Since then, I have worked on multiple commercial, residential and hospitality projects through concept development, space planning, interior and exterior designing, 3D visualizing, drafting construction drawings and documents, and, if I'm lucky, managing and supervising the construction of said designs.
I'm grateful for getting to do what I'm passionate about, and my aim is to continue immersing myself in inspiring, functional designs that positively impact users' lifestyles and individuality.

Residential and public-space projects, including duplexes, villas, apartments, and lounge environments. Responsible for concept development, space planning, interior design, 3D visualization, and design development. Integrated AI-assisted workflows into the design process to generate design concepts, material palettes, and high quality visual renders.

Contributed to the design development of a hospitality project in Aswan, centered around sustainable earth-based construction. Worked across urban and interior layouts, developing the design of restaurants, guest rooms, and spa spaces, with a focus on integrating the project's architectural character, material palette, and surrounding context.

Managed a team of designers throughout all design processes, from concept development and design coordination through to technical documentation and implementation. Constructed and reviewed technical drawings. Coordinated with site, responding to RFIs and construction-related queries to ensure design intent was maintained throughout execution.

Designed and 3D visualized multiple interior and exterior spaces, from design concepts into detailed packages. Presented the fully developed projects to clients. Produced technical drawings and tender documents for implementation while coordinating with contractors on site as needed.
